Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree, planted by rivers of water that brings forth is fruit in its season whose leaf does not wither and whatever he does shall prosper.

Psalms 1:1-3

Today is my first devotional since I expanded my website. Welcome! Are you a warrior or a worrier? Are you keeping the good fight of faith? Or are you worried and anxious, eventhough God commands us not to? When we fight the good fight of faith – look it is a good fight. But when we are worried, we are not fighting a good fight. We are in fear and that is Satan’s domain. Today, I encourage you on this. Colossians 2:15 states: “Having despoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Some translations say that Jesus made a spectacle of them. Who is them? Satan and his cohorts that’s who! Jesus put the devil’s defeat on display for all to see. Just remember what Philippians 2:10-11 states: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” “But thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:14. Are you in Christ? Because if you are, HE ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH IN HIM!

Having done all to stand…STAND“! Ephesians 6:13-14

I encourage you to read Ephesians 6:13-17. But I want to focus on the words having done all to stand…STAND! I am reminded of a Palm tree. They are created to bend. They are created to sustain high gale force hurricane winds. They can bend to the sidewalk if need be, and stand right back up. There is no doubt we will be attacked by the devil. But we don’t have to stay bent over from the circumstance. We can, in the Name of Jesus, stand back up. The Word says in Romans 10:13. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” So, if you are caught in the winds of a hurricane and you are feeling so bent over that you feel you cannot hold on, call on the Name of the Lord and you will be saved. He will help us to STAND! Never quit because the Mighty one is with you.

We have to always remember that Satan is a liar and the “father of lies.” John 8:44 In fact, he invented lying because Father God never sinned. If Satan is called a “father” it means he created something. What the devil creates is always a lie, always evil and always destructive. So, is he whispering depression into your mind? Are you an emotional wreck because you are looking at the way things are, instead of the way they should be or how you are praying for them to be? Get a grip! Father Abraham called things that be not, as though they were. So, start calling what it is that you are believing God for. For example: “I am driving my brand new SUV. Wow! Is this ride amazing. Thank You, Jesus! I can drive it back and forth to my beach house in Bethany Beach without any worry of it breaking down because it IS that reliable. The pilot funding I needed to get Summer Ray into production is here and we are very busy with this project. Praise God He provided the funding and the most amazing people to work with! Hallelujah!!! God is so awesome. I am so favored. My family and I are in health and we are prospering even as our soul is prospering. Mercy and goodness are following us, now and every day for the rest of our lives. Thank You, Jesus!” Get the picture!!!

Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18

I cannot stress enough, a vision board. I am just sorry it took me so long to actually make one. When the devil tries to get me discouraged about something, I look to my board and say, “Nope! That isn’t what God said.” Always keep in front of you, what God has said to you. His Word is the final say, not the devil’s. This is a tremendous help when fear tries to over take you. Stay focused on God – not circumstances. A vision board keeps faith and hope alive and active! It keeps you motivated when something on that board is accomplished. Today, just think of all you want to accomplish this year. Set your goals. Write the vision. Get it up for you to pray over and thank God for everyday. It’s actually a lot of fun to make one. Just do it. You will be happy you did!
