Beth Farnham is running for School Director, Conewago Valley School District. I actually never heard of her until recently, when I saw a very disturbing photo of what was her and her two children (according to reliable sources), giving the middle finger (all three of them) to the statue of General Lee on National Park property. But in further research, on May 18, 2022 according to her Snacktown Bee Facebook page she wrote, “Never forget – before Mastriano and his (ilk attempted – her words) should say “ill attempt” to kill American Democracy in the hallowed halls of our nation’s Capitol, they practiced their threats on other federal land at the National Military Park of Gettysburg on July 4th, 2020.” First of all, here is my response in regard to the picture of Mastriano standing beside what some have referred to as the “Boogaloo bois” (their description, not mine). https://julianalove.com/2020/09/21/the-heartbeat-and-backbone-of-america/. Second, let’s go back to Ms. Farnham’s words, “in the hallowed halls of our nation’s Capitol.” That statement is false as Senator Mastriano did not go inside the Capitol building. I would also challenge you to tell us exactly what “threats” “they practiced,” at the Gettysburg National Military Park on July 04, 2020. I was also on Confederate Avenue that day, standing close to General Lee’s statue. I did not witness violence of any kind and I was there for several hours!

Ms. Farnham, please tell me how is it respectful for you and your two children to be giving a statue the middle finger on federal, sacred and hallowed ground? These are children, your children right? And yet, you are running for School Director (again) where other children are that you will have authority over, will you not? Let’s go over a few definitions of using only the middle finger shall we!!!

“The middle finger gesture was used in ancient times as a symbol of sexual intercourse, in a manner meant to degrade, intimidate and threaten the individual receiving the gesture.”

“Extending the middle finger, is an offensive and obscene gesture, widely recognized as a form of insult, due to its resemblance of an erect penis.”

By allowing your children to partake in your vulgar acts, on National Park property, how dare you talk bad about Senator Mastriano. This man is a United States Army Colonel; a faithful husband; a Conservative Christian; and has a son in the military as well. He has what you lack and that is morals!

Maybe Ms. Farnham, you should check out the Character Counts website www.charactercounts.org, before you run for any public office that has to do with children. I am certain that character – good character- does not involve teaching children, even if they are your own, such a public display of vulgarity. General Lee, I am sorry for such a tasteless lack of class! But it is the children I feel sorry for. They have a a mother who not only promotes this trash, but allows them to partake of it! Also, Ms. Farnham, do you think children should have access to books that promote “graphic porn” in the public and school libraries? Should parents be allowed to refuse such books, without threats of backlash from the system? I mean after all, it is their children. But seeing what you allow with yours, those questions have a “yes” to the first one, and a “no” to the second. Am I right? Also, how do you feel about that transgender coach who was reinstated – a transgender male in a female locker room undressing in front of girls? It should have not been permitted in the first place! So, I am in 100 percent agreement with you on that. But seeing how you are also for “Women’s Right,” aka disguised as abortion rights, please tell me how that is any different than slavery? If the unborn child and/or now a days, a late term child who can absolutely live outside of his or her mother’s womb and the baby is murdered, how is that any different than slavery? Are not the rights of the unborn taken away? You live by a double standard Ms. Farnham and I find that to be extremely repulsive!
