I read on a post that Christians should not be in the government, due to the “Separation of Church and State.” Ignorance is defined as, “lack of knowledge or information; lack of education.” The Bible states in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (KJV) The Bible also states in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” (KJV)
Knowledge is easily obtainable in our modern day society.
But some people, just want an excuse to freely sin and to freely make decisions that will continue to enable their lifestyle.
Why have Christians in the government, if they will act contrary to someone wanting an abortion? But in ALL honesty, I partly blame the church for our modern day Liberalism.
A lot of pastors are not preaching what they need to about politics!
Why? For the same reason as in the above first sentence. They say they can’t, due to the “Separation of Church and State!” If they had actually done their homework, they would know exactly where that phrase came from. Here, let me help them out.

It did not mean that the church could not preach politics from the pulpits.
It also did not mean that Christians could not be in politics.

Even the Bible states in Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.” (NIV) The child of course, is Jesus. So, if the government is on His shoulders, how come pastors cannot preach about the government from their pulpits? They claim they will be put in jail. Under what law? What law is broken if they were to do that? I read nothing about in Thomas Jefferson’s letter that politics cannot be preached in a church. It truly states basically that the government will not interfere in, once again, our right to freedom of worship. It amazes me, how down through the ages of time, that the true intent of this letter has been hidden. But yet, somehow the words, “Separation of Church and State,” has been used as a tool to stop politics from being preached from pulpits. The entire meaning has been misconstrued to meet modern day ideals. “Misconstrued” is defined as, “interpret (something, especially a person’s words or actions) wrongly.“
The entire interpretation has been twisted as an excuse, to not preach the truth of what is taking place in the government.
If pastors would preach truth, Christians and Evangelicals would not be voting for Biden!!!
I was told in the church I used to attend that, “Trump is a joke.” Yet, he isn’t the one who is killing babies. I can only speculate, but I do believe that millions of Christians and Evangelicals voted for Biden. Why? It is because many churches in modern day America are too soft with the Word of God, and too afraid to speak the truth. This is why I partially blame them for the downfall of America.
The Word of God needs to be within the walls of the government.
God was once honored in our American government. The Declaration of Independence; the Constitution of the United States; and other founding documents were once respected, from both sides of aisles. There are God-fearing men and women in our government now who are fighting the good fight of faith, to help restore Him back . But here, let me also give you this little gem from President Clinton himself.

Subject: Religious Expression in Public Schools
I share the concern and frustration that many Americans feel about situations where the protections accorded by the First Amendment are not recognized or understood. This problem has manifested itself in our Nation’s public schools. It appears that some school officials, teachers and parents have assumed that religious expression of any type is either inappropriate, or forbidden altogether, in public schools.
As our courts have reaffirmed, however, nothing in the First Amendment converts our public schools into religion-free zones, or requires all religious expression to be left behind at the schoolhouse door. While the government may not use schools to coerce the consciences of our students, or to convey official endorsement of religion, the government’s schools also may not discriminate against private religious expression during the school day.
I have been advised by the Department of Justice and the Department of Education that the First Amendment permits—and protects—a greater degree of religious expression in public schools than many Americans may now understand. The Departments of Justice and Education have advised me that, while application may depend upon specific factual contexts and will require careful consideration in particular cases, the following principles are among those that apply to religious expression in our schools:
Student prayer and religious discussion: The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment does not prohibit purely private religious speech by students. Students therefore have the same right to engage in individual or group prayer and religious discussion during the school day as they do to engage in other comparable activity. For example, students may read their Bibles or other scriptures, say grace before meals, and pray before tests to the same extent they may engage in comparable nondisruptive activities. Local school authorities possess substantial discretion to impose rules of order and other pedagogical restrictions on student activities, but they may not structure or administer such rules to discriminate against religious activity or speech.
Generally, students may pray in a nondisruptive manner when not engaged in school activities or instruction, and subject to the rules that normally pertain in the applicable setting. Specifically, students in informal settings, such as cafeterias and hallways, may pray and discuss their religious views with each other, subject to the same rules of order as apply to other student activities and speech. Students may also speak to, and attempt to persuade, their peers about religious topics just as they do with regard to political topics. School officials, however, should intercede to stop student speech that constitutes harassment aimed at a student or a group of students.
Students may also participate in before or after school events with religious content, such as “see you at the flag pole” gatherings, on the same terms as they may participate in other noncurriculum activities on school premises. School officials may neither discourage nor encourage participation in such an event.
The right to engage in voluntary prayer or religious discussion free from discrimination does not include the right to have a captive audience listen, or to compel other students to participate. Teachers and school administrators should ensure that no student is in any way coerced to participate in religious activity.“
This does not sound like our American schools today. But unless this document is brought out, discrimination will continue. Children have a legal right to pray in school and to wear religious items or clothes.
“Student garb: Students may display religious messages on items of clothing to the same extent that they are permitted to display other comparable messages. Religious messages may not be singled out for suppression, but rather are subject to the same rules as generally apply to comparable messages. When wearing particular attire, such as yarmulkes and head scarves, during the school day is part of students’ religious practice, under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act schools generally may not prohibit the wearing of such items.
I hereby direct the Secretary of Education, in consultation with the Attorney General, to use appropriate means to ensure that public school districts and school officials in the United States are informed, by the start of the coming school year, of the principles set forth above.“
Yet, children are being sent home if they wear the name Jesus on their clothes. They are not allowed to get diplomas, if they go by their own convictions and say His name and in their speeches. IT IS AN OUTRAGE and has been for quite sometime.
Lastly, the free-Palestine protests stating that babies are being “beheaded,” and “burnt.” This is extremely loathing. Are not many of these same people for abortion right here in America? You know, the same country that does the same horror – also to innocent lives? Aborted babies have their limbs cut off; they are burnt and beheaded and ripped from their mothers womb. But here it is called, “Free choice” and “Women’s Rights.” Over there, it is murder to the 100th degree. Then we have these same protestors blocking a “Pride” parade. Are there not “Queers for Palestine?” So, they would be on the same team as the protestors right? The word that comes to mind is, “derangement!” It is defined as, “insanity; disarrangement; disorder; the state of being completely unable to think clearly or behave in a controlled way, especially because of mental illness.” I like the word, “disarrangement.”
