Now, many in the LGBTQ community are bitching because some people have changed the month of June, to honoring our Vets. You demand we cater to your needs of being acknowledged, and then get angry when we don’t. Why? Because we feel the overwhelming sense of gratitude, to honor those who have fought and died for our country. It doesn’t make us “bigots.” It makes us Americans. Yet, the hate continues. Then we are called, “fake friends,” because we do not celebrate their lifestyle. This has happened to me time and time again. During the BLM movement, I was 100% against it. I raised two African/American children whose family no longer talks to me. We were extremely close. But because I refused to agree with the BLM movement, they abandoned me. They even gave me a choice. Choose the BLM or you will no longer be welcome. Okay! Bye! I chose to do what was right. Same thing happened with dear friends when I voted for Trump. Well, guess what? I do what I believe God tells me to do. He is the one I answer to, not man. I do not live to please man. I live to please God. I follow Jesus! Period.

When given ultimatums, they never work the way the other party expects. I do not need people in my life, who demand I do what they want or else. I will take the “or else” every time! I am not the one who is fake. I stay true to myself and to my God. If people don’t like it, they can take a hike. God comes first, period! I am not claiming to be holier than thou. I just know where I belong and that is in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. “For in him we live, and move, and have our being.” Acts 17:29

Especially in our day in age with so much destruction going on, we need to be under the shadow of the Almighty. That is where I pray my family and dwell.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91: 1-2

But read the whole chapter. I can’t imagine how much it must hurt the heart of God when people reject Him. It is blasphemy against Him, when churches preach that is is okay for a man and a man to be married, or a woman and a woman to be married. It most certainly is not. The Lutheran Church here in Gettysburg are welcoming of this type of desecration of God’s Holy Word! On their Facebook page they stated:

“Love is love. Show your love & support and walk with St. James Lutheran Church

in the Gettysburg Pride Parade.” June 3, 2022

“Gettysburg PRIDE is this Saturday! We’ll be on the square at PRIDE! Hope to see you there!” May 30, 2025

They had an “ALL LOVING & INCLUSIVE” Church Service too! June 1, 2025

We cannot celebrate sin. Should I celebrate adultery? Should a church tell a man, “We are so happy to include you and your mistress? You know, the woman who is not your wife!” Should that church celebrate their sin? Or should they be told the truth from God’s Word? The Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, celebrates the sin of the LGBTQ community. My love would lead them to Jesus by speaking truth. It wouldn’t desecrate Him, by saying their lifestyle is acceptable when it is not! I am not saying the LGBTQ community should not be welcome in church. But churches that do not hold their sin accountable, are only enabling them to go deeper into it, and further away from the Salvation they so desperately need. Should I take an alcoholic to a bar and tell him that him being an alcoholic isn’t killing him, and give him liquor? These are very sad realities that are happening in our society!

Churches should be preaching truth and stop helping to send people to Hell! I don’t love you if I am telling you that it is okay, to be in blatant open sin. Love would tell you, “Here is the truth! You need to start working toward a change. But the Good News is, Jesus can help you with that!” Run from any church that does not preach truth!  “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:6 (NIV)

That is what real love is. Real love does not rejoice with the evil that sends people to Hell!

So, I refuse to celebrate Pride Month! I refuse to acknowledge that is it okay to sin against God by being of the LGBTQ community. I don’t celebrate sin. I can pray that God will help lead you to the truth that can save you from this demonic lifestyle. It is why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. So why the hell would any church celebrate it?
