If you did not yet read part one, here is the link. https://julianalove.com/2023/09/06/protecting-the-innocent/. To those of you who voted to reinstate that transgender male who identifies as a women, but is still a male, let me ask you this. How would you feel if your husband, father, brother, boyfriend, or adult male friend undressed in front of your minor child/children? Would you deem that appropriate behavior? The thought of undressing in front of my minor grandchildren is revolting and it should also be your response to the question I just asked. If it is, then why did you vote to reinstate this man? Are you afraid to stand up to the LGBTQ plus community, or perhaps it’s because of the following ordinance:
“It is the express purpose and intent of the Borough of Gettysburg Nondiscrimination and Local Human Relations Commission Ordinance that all persons be treated fairly and equally and that all persons within the Borough of Gettysburg be guaranteed fair and equal treatment under law.“
This is precisely part of what is wrong with Gettysburg, not standing up to this type of behavior. Where was Mayor Rita when that man was walking around exposing his bare ass? Where was Mayor Rita when that woman was showing off her female body parts? Does she not have the authority to force them to cover up or be arrested? Of course, she does. Where was she when the statue of David Wills and Abraham Lincoln was desecrated, when it was draped in rainbow colors signifying the LGBTQ plus community and Pride week?

Oh! But I’ll bet if we draped a Confederate Battle Flag over the statue of Thaddeus Stevens the abolitionist, she would have had something to say about it. “Oh! Juliana, you are just against the LGBTQ plus community because you are racist!” No! I am against perversion. I am against minor children being subjected to said perversion. I am against allowing lewd behavior on the streets, while residents and tourists are just trying to enjoy a night out. If you want to be a transgender, then be one. If you want to be Gay, be Gay because that is your right to be so. But don’t act in a manner that is against humanity, especially against minor children. This is true for every straight person as well. And just because there were no policies in place that coach should have had enough ethical insight, to know it was wrong to undress in the girls locker room. Ethics is defined as, “moral principles that govern a person’s behavior or the conducting of an activity.” Here let me add the Character Counts website. It may be helpful going forward! https://charactercounts.org/!
