Constitutional Convention Address on Prayer

delivered Thursday, June 28, 1787, Philadelphia, PA

“In the beginning of the contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. — Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance.

I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that “except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall be become a reproach and a bye word down to future age. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human Wisdom, and leave it to chance, war, and conquest.

“And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human Wisdom, and leave it to chance, war and conquest.” Ben Franklin knew that removing prayer would have disastrous consequences and it has. Ben Franklin also knew that it was God who gave them success during the Revolutionary War. They had “daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered.”

Once again, America is at war and the only hope for this country is Jesus. Socialists have become the British tyrants of the past, resurrected under the disguise of Obama/Biden Administration. Joe stated that they still must win the war for America’s soul. Notice he didn’t stay, we must win the war for America’s spirit. The Spirt of America is not something they will address. Why? It is because that coincides with patriotism, and patriotism involves God. They want nothing to do with the Almighty. They want to be their own gods. They want America to bow before their policies, including the murder of the innocent. The Obama/Biden Administration, is trying to break the soul of Americans. Unfortunately, they have done a good job at it. For him to say that they must win the battle for America’s soul, is simply straight from the mouth of Satan himself.

Dylan Mulvaney stated that “Dehumanization has never fixed anything.” Those us of who are against his behavior, still treat him like a human being. We have simply boycotted those brands who enable his depravity. One minute he is a little girl, then he is a woman. Even he, cannot figure out what sex he is. And even identifying as a female, he bounces back and forth between womanhood and girlhood. A normal thinking society, will not to help people like Dylan in their delusions. But according to the Obama/Biden Administration, we are to show love and be encouraging. Well, love must be tough at times. I refuse to go along with Dylan’s narcissistic and moral perversion. It doesn’t mean I hate him. I hate what he is doing to himself. Why? Because I know the consequences will eventually be self-destruction and possible Hell. Dylan also stated that God doesn’t make mistakes. God created Dylan as a male. Do not tell me that God wanted him to become a female. It is simply sacrilegious. It profanes God’s holiness. It says that God is a liar and that He made a mistake by making Dylan a male at first. We have this group of people who are also saying that being drag is holy. I cringe with holy fear. Not only that I tell my God, “I am sorry at what we have become, since America first won its independence.”

Which brings me right back to what Ben Franklin said. But we must remember the war for independence, it wasn’t until the Crossing of the Delaware

that things started to turn in favor of the Continental Army. Until then, they hadn’t won any major battles. They kept losing and morale was so low that George Washington had the writings of Thomas Paine read to his men.

We are here, once again. America’s morale is so low that people are giving up hope that it will ever get better.

The Obama/Biden Administration is after the soul of America, by breaking us down and conquering us into submission. It’s a modern day Hitler scenario. They blame guns instead of the person. They blame society instead of the person. It’s all Trumps fault and his followers. Well, let’s get one thing straight. I do not follow Trump. I follow God. God is with Trump and that is why I support him. Our souls once again, are being tried. But, we are not “sunshine patriots.” We must stand by it now, and stay true to our God and to our beloved America. It might look like we are losing time and time again and truly, we have lost so much. But just like the Hessians were taken by surprise, by the fact that the Continental Army crossed the Delaware in such treacherous weather conditions; the Left will also be taken by surprise, by those of us who also refuse to quit. We must continue to cross the rivers of the Lefts demonic, traitorous and evil approach, to winning the battle of America’s soul!
