The place where both Union and Confederate soldiers fought and died; some missing; others wounded. Many casualties of that war are buried in the Gettysburg National Cemetery as Unknowns.

Gettysburg was the place where millions of people used to come to learn about history and see the reenactors that brought that history to life.

Now, imagine an unhinged woman with Trump Derangement Syndrome cussing out that young boy, just wanting to honor his ancestor and be apart of that living history. This is exactly what happened here in Gettysburg, during one of the weekly protests.

Reenactors used to the be the backbone of this town. Now they are few. They used to grace the battlefields, sidewalks, hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and other stores. They brought massive amounts of revenue to the town and helped to boost its economy. The ghost tours have been carrying a heavy load, trying to keep this town from going completely under. But due to the filth, profanity, threats, the total lack of respect, some of the local businesses are struggling. I witness some of the most disgusting classless people at these weekly Saturday protests. But it wasn’t until a teenage boy was cussed out for his right to wear his uniform that it was no longer political, it was personal. I have many Confederate ancestors, though I was raised in a Yankee home. But after thousands of hours of research surrounding these battlefields and the field hospitals; knowing some of the extent of what the soldiers suffered both Union and Confederate, these protesters (in my opinion) are demonized. They have zero compassion for the tragedy of war, and the agonizing and horrific bloodshed that happened here. One of the permit holders Meghan O’Brien at the Democrat table as we walked by shouted, “losers,” and “you are on the losing side.”

I find that to be extremely hypocritical as in the modern day America, she and the rest of these protesters are now on the losing side, seeing how their brainless candidate Harris lost to Trump!

It is my goal to bring the reenactors back to Gettysburg, especially during these protests. The current Liberal leadership does nothing to stop any of the permit violations. So, I am making it a point to bring the history back to the forefront and let that become the focus. After all, it is Gettysburg!!! We need to drown out the noise of these godless people and bring the living history back to its glory days. Reenactors, we need you! Oh and you idiotic protesters who call us, “racists” for carrying the Confederate flag and wearing the Confederate uniforms, it is also what you call us Trump supporters. My article on that will be written shortly.
