Greetings from Gettysburg!
Its been several months since I have written anything political about what is going on in Gettysburg, or the elections in general. But there are a few things I must speak up about. Recently in an article Mayor Lintal wrote:
“I have several goals as Mayor, including making sure our community remains a sustainable and welcoming place for all.”
First, let’s discuss the word, “remains.” It is defined as, “to stay in the same place or in the same condition.” This would imply that our Gettysburg community is already sustainable and a welcoming place for all. I can assure you it is not. She also stated,
“Despite some of the challenges we face as a small community, we are not short on care, ingenuity, and the will to work together to find local solutions to pressing social problems.”
That statement is valid for Liberal Democrats only. Because I can assure you again, the Liberal leadership including the Mayor, does not work with Republicans, especially us MAGA ones! The Liberal leadership REFUSES to do anything about the permit violations, during the weekly Saturday protesting at the Town Square. Trust me, I have tried. If you go back through many of my blogs you will see that. I have also sent emails that most went unanswered.
On October 17th, my boyfriend and I were driving to the Square to get to the battlefield. Jason was dressed in his Yankee uniform.
Now, we have had issues in the past with him wearing his Confederate uniform, when he walked through the Square with it on. We were called, “racists” etc. etc. etc! When we got to the Square, we had to wait to merge into traffic. To the right of us on the curb (not sidewalk) were protesters demanding we honk our horn, in alliance with their hatred of President Trump. We stated, “No! Go Trump!” We were immediately called, “racists.” Neither Jason nor myself did anything deserving of being called names. But then they started waving their signs close to our car as we drove by. Crosswalks, once again, were blocked as well. But where is the Mayor who is supposed to help take care of law and order? Where is the Code Enforcement officer? Of course, no where to be found. They allow the permit violations why? It is because of their own hatred of President Trump. They are not bipartisan. They are only for their own party. Harassing passing cars and shouting obscenities, should be considered disorderly conduct – for which the Mayor is responsible for stopping. Waving signs in front of windshields is also dangerous. Then the Mayor has the nerve to write,
“I have several goals as Mayor, including making sure our community remains a sustainable and welcoming place for all.”
Because of the lack of real leadership in Gettysburg, they have made it a hostile living environment for any Republican. Once I get some research done on how to file formal complaints via Harrisburg, I am going to!
As for the Liberal Democratic protesters, you have proven that it isn’t just the Confederate uniform that was your reason for calling us “racists.” It is the simple fact that you are demonically deranged! You have forgotten that America is a free nation and that its citizens have a right to vote for their choice of candidate!
“WELCOMING PLACE FOR ALL?”
Yeah right! Perhaps Mayor Lintal and the Gettysburg Liberal Leadership, should just do their jobs. You know, like they are supposed to! Then perhaps what she stated would actually be truth! I am quite certain, in their current state of mind, we would have to wait for Hell to freeze over for that to happen. Once again, might I suggest Jesus!

ALSO, PLEASE BE AWARE GETTYSBURG LIBERAL LEADERSHIP, ONCE IT IS CASE LAW THAT THE “8647” SIGNS ARE A DIRECT THREAT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, I WILL BE TURNING IN EVERY PICTURE OF EVERY PERSON AT THESE PROTESTS WAVING THOSE SIGNS!
I know several people who also tried to get you to act in accordance with the permits! Your failure to do so, isn’t because you couldn’t. It is because you wouldn’t! There is a very big difference! Republicans in our borough, because the Gettysburg Liberal Leadership has unleased this Hell for far too long in our “small community,” I honestly hope that some of you decide to run for their seats and we get them voted OUT!
In closing, isn’t it great that the current Mayor remembers our beloved history? Sure you do! Have you tried to bring back the reenactors that your fellow Liberals ran out? Have you ever thought of the astonishing amount of revenue that has been lost because of their being ran out? Oh! But she is now big on affordable housing that has absolutely NOTHING to do with her job description!
Come spring, if I am healthy enough after Pulmonary Rehab, I am certainly going to try to get on the ballot for Mayor! I am working hard to do so!
