RESPONSE TO MICHAEL COOPER-WHITE (GETTYSBURG TIMES ARTICLE JANUARY 09, 2022

So, here we are again at this juncture Michael Cooper-White, with you writing stupid stuff in an open article published in the Gettysburg Times. The first thought that comes to mind is simply this. Do you have no concern for your own soul and where you will spend eternity? You claim to be a Christian, right? You must be absolutely terror-stricken that Senator Douglas Mastriano will be the next Governor of Pennsylvania, or you wouldn’t go to such great lengths to try and discredit him by sneaking into his event as a reporter for the Gettysburg Times, under the disguise as a pastor.

Okay! So, let me bring up one of the most important topics in politics. It is one word, “abortion.” You are a Democrat who supports President Joe Biden and Governor Tom Wolf. Both of these men believe in abortion and even late term abortion when the baby can live outside of his or her mother’s womb. But is not your stance on abortion against the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)? Here let me remind you what the ECLA’S “Social Report on Abortion” is:

CONVICTIONS OF OUR FAITH
Some basic faith convictions undergird our judgments on abortion:
Human beings, created in God’s image as male and female (Genesis 1:27-28),
are persons of intrinsic value and dignity. Human beings live in community, with
responsibility and accountability to God, self, and others. Women, faced with
unintended pregnancies, are called to be good stewards of life by making responsible decisions in light of these relationships. Women and men share equally
in the responsibility and accountability for procreation, although it is women
who are most intimately affected by decisions about abortion.
All of life is a mysterious, awesome gift of God. Biblical passages express the
God-given mystery of creation (Psalm 139; Jeremiah 1:5; Isaiah 40:26ff; Luke
1:41; Acts 17:24-25). God creates life, redeems it through Jesus Christ, and fulfills it in the coming of the reign of God. Personal human life is a part of this
divine drama. God creates a human being through complex genetic, physiological, and relational developments.
Human life in all phases of its development is
God-given and, therefore, has intrinsic value, worth, and dignity.

Although abortion raises significant moral issues at any stage of fetal development, the closer the life in the womb comes to full term the more serious such
issues become. When a child can survive outside a womb, it becomes possible
for other people, and not only the mother, to nourish and care for the child. This
church opposes ending intrauterine life when a fetus is developed enough to live
outside a uterus with the aid of reasonable and necessary technology.“

So, please explain how you can support the horrors of the Democratic party, when the church you claim to represent opposes abortion. They have a name for people like you, and it is called “hypocrite.” In case you do not know its meaning, here let me break it down. It is defined as: “a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion.” See, the one thing about Senator Mastriano, what you see is what you get. He doesn’t have to lie, cheat, or steal to get where he needs to be. He isn’t double minded. He doesn’t have to pretend to be a godly man, he IS a godly man. My concern Michael Cooper-White is how close to Hell you really are. You proclaim Jesus, but act like Satan. This Pharisee and Sadducees type behavior, should scare the Hell right out of you. But it doesn’t. You think because you wear the badge of “pastor” that you will escape the fires of Hell? Matthew 7:21-23 states the following:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’“

Let’s talk about the word “lawlessness.” It is defined as: “a state of disorder due to a disregard of the law.” Are you not the same man who supports Black Lives Matter? You spout off peace but then you support many who have disrupted it. Then you also state in an article: “No, fellow white Christians, we are not under attack.” What the hell is a “white Christian?” Your head is so stuffed with religion that you are blind to the naked truth about the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you aware at all that when we become God’s kids that the ONLY color He sees is Red? There is no white, black or even different races. We are unified under one color, as one Body – the Body of Christ. Yet, you by your religious garbage, have separated the very unity that Christ died for! If I were you, I would fall to my knees and beg His forgiveness. The Bible states in Proverbs 6:19, that God HATES, “a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” If you really were a Christian, then Senator Doug Mastriano would qualify as your brother in Christ. Yet, you oppose him – a Christian Conservative Republican.

The fact that the Democratic Committee has called for his resignation is simply GOLD! He is now a “person of interest” in the planning of the January 06, 2021 attack at the Capitol Building? Colonel Mastriano who served our country, helped to plan an attack at the Capitol Building? You mean this guy?

The one in Washington, D.C. that Capitol? The same government he served as a Colonel in the United States Army? He wants to overthrow it? There again, you all must be so terror-stricken that he really might just be the next Governor of Pennsylvania, to come up with such nonsense. In what world does any of what you say make sense?

Lastly,

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-16

I know you by your fruit Michael Cooper-White, and I know Senator Mastriano by his. It gives me great honor to know that he, not you, will be the next Governor of Pennsylvania. Deal with it!
